when you hope, you're desiring something that hasn't happened yet -- something better ahead. you might be waiting for it for a very long time. it might be tempting to lose your hope if the wait goes on and on.

how do you keep hope alive? this verse tells us -- you have to keep faith.

when we have faith, we trust that the thing we hope for will happen. it's not an if, it's a when. we are reassured that it will become a reality, on God's timing, and that His timing is infinitely wiser than ours.

the world might find this foolish, but it's a great exercise in patience. to be clear, this doesn't mean you should sit back and just wait for your goals to accomplish themselves. but it does mean recognizing and giving over things you can't control. this gives a lot of peace.

here’s what you can expect for the night and how to make the most of it:

⛪ pull up to mount carmel parish, 400 st laurent blvd, by 7pm and find your parking and seats. we’ll get going at 7:30 sharp in the basement.

🎸 we’ll kick off the night with a rousing music set, headed by our worship leader matt. this is not a concert. rather, it’s a chance to lay down your worries in exchange for hope.

🎤 we’re very excited to feature fr. ben st. croix as our speaker. bring an open mind, and hear his word on the source of hope in an uncertain world.

🎸 our next music set will be more personal and reflective, and a chance to put the word we just heard into action. come and encounter the source of all hope.
